Arbutin
Arbutin is extracted from the bearberry plant. The fruit of the bearberry plant is edible and the leaves are used in herbal medicine. Arbutin inhibits the production of tyrosinase and thus prevents the formation of melanin and skin pigmentation. Arbutin is also found in wheat and pear skins.

Koji Rice Extract
This extract is a natural, effective skin lightening agent that helps to fade skin pigmentation by retarding excessive melanin production. It works by inhibiting the formation of melanin by the melanocytes in the epidermis. It helps to fight age spots, pregnancy spots, freckles as well as general skin pigmentation.

Jeju Sasa Quelpaertensis Extract
Sasa Quelpaertensis is an edible bamboo grass which is mainly grown on Jeju Island, located off the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula. This extract improves skin whitening activity by inhibiting oxidation, inflammation and melanin formation in the epidermis without any side effects.

Jeju Green Tea Extract
The green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island are known to be rich in minerals and amino acids. This extract acts to soothe and deeply moisturise the skin to ensure that it is kept hydrated and well-nourished throughout the whitening process.
